ThinkHazard! is an interactive map-based tool that supports consideration of climate-related hazards in vulnerability assessments and adaptation planning. It provides accessible, location‑based information on 11 natural hazards by integrating global, regional, and national datasets into a consistent classification system. The tool outlines hazard levels for any selected administrative unit, using a transparent methodology that includes data selection algorithms, damaging‑intensity thresholds, and frequency‑based classification derived from probabilistic or susceptibility data. It also presents interactive maps, hazard descriptions, and color‑coded indicators to help users understand the likelihood and potential severity of natural hazard impacts. The tool also provides risk management recommendations, links to relevant resources, and contact information for national and local institutions. Its open‑source architecture also allows organizations to adapt the platform or develop sector‑specific versions.
While it is not specific to health, ThinkHazard! provides information and resources that may useful to consider in adaptation planning of health and other health determining sectors.
