UK Health Alliance on Climate Change

The UK Health Alliance on Climate Change (UKHACC) brings together health professionals to advocate for just responses to the climate and ecological crisis, promote the health benefits that flow from those responses, and empower members and health professionals to make changes in their professional and personal lives to respond to the crisis.

Supporting the following commitments:

  • Conduct climate change and health vulnerability and adaptation assessments (V&As) at population level and/or health care facility level.
  • Deliver a baseline assessment of greenhouse gas emissions of the health system (including supply chains).
  • Develop an action plan or roadmap by a set date to develop a sustainable low carbon health system (including supply chains).
