Habitable Earth International Organisation (HEIORG)
Habitable Earth International Organization (HEIORG) is a zero-profit Civil Society and Non-Governmental Organization holding prestigious accreditations across United Nations framework entities, including special consultative status with UN-ECOSOC, UNFCCC Observer status, UNCCD accreditation, ECOWAS Youth Council (EYC) and Green Climate Fund (GCF) entity status.
HEIORG leverages its global institutional standing and technical expertise to spearhead high-impact health environmental and climate change initiatives. Our core competency areas—spanning climate change adaptation, desertification mitigation, marine and ocean health, and vulnerable groups including women, children, youth, and indigenous populations—directly align with the imperatives of the COP26 Health Programme Commitments.
Specifically, HEIORG provides vital health and wellness technical support in building climate-resilient and low-carbon sustainable health systems. By addressing the compounding intersections of environmental degradation and public health vulnerabilities, HEIORG deploys targeted policy advocacy, grassroots capacity building, and multi-stakeholder project execution. Our technical capacity to mobilize climate finance through our GCF accreditation enables us to bridge environmental stewardship and health security, ensuring that vulnerable communities receive robust support to withstand escalating climate-driven health crises.
