Save the Children

Save the Children is committed to ensuring every child can learn, survive, and thrive, but the climate crisis threatens this future. As a global leader in child health and rights, Save the Children recognizes that climate change is not just an environmental issue—it’s a child rights and health crisis. With a presence in over 115 countries and deep partnerships across sectors, Save the Children brings decades of expertise in climate resilience, health, nutrition, and community engagement.

Save the Children is uniquely positioned to support the implementation of CoP26 health commitments through the ATACH Task Teams. Their work includes aligning climate-resilient health system indicators, improving the quality of vulnerability assessments, integrating nutrition into climate-health policies, and guiding the prioritization of climate and health investments. Drawing on evidence from global research, field programs, and Green Climate Fund projects, they ensure policies and actions are effective, equitable, and sustainable.

By leveraging their technical expertise, extensive networks, and innovative approaches, Save the Children plays a critical role in shaping climate-resilient health solutions that protect children’s futures. Together, Save the Children believes, we can build stronger, healthier communities that are prepared for the challenges of climate change.
