The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is a specialized agency of the United Nations leading global efforts to end hunger and malnutrition. Leveraging its expertise in agriculture, climate, nutrition, and gender, FAO supports ATACH and the Initiative on Climate Action and Nutrition (I-CAN) in fostering synergies between health systems and agrifood systems. FAO works to catalyze integrated climate actions within agrifood systems that maximize nutrition and health benefits, contributing to more efficient, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable agrifood systems that enable healthy diets for all.
