Call for country case studies on climate-health financing
Credit: WHO / Morrison Tabokai The ATACH Task Team on Mapping and Description of Financing Opportunities, led by the Commonwealth Secretariat, is inviting submissions of country case studies on climate-health financing. The aim is to capture national experiences, particularly from Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and other vulnerable countries, on how financing is accessed, used, and leveraged to strengthen health and climate resilience.
We are particularly interested in case studies that highlight:
- Access to financing: experiences in applying for or securing funds from multilateral climate funds, development banks, domestic budgets, philanthropic donors, or private sector sources.
- Use of financing: how funds have been implemented in health and climate projects or policies.
- Innovations and lessons learned: creative approaches to overcoming barriers, building partnerships, or ensuring sustainable financing for climate-health action.
- Impact: examples of how financing has supported resilience, health system strengthening, or climate adaptation.
Case studies will contribute to a broader knowledge-sharing exercise under ATACH and may be published on the ATACH Community of Practice website. They may also be featured in ATACH communications and future Task Team outputs.
