The Collaborative Centre for Climate, Health & Sustainable Care hosted its third annual Climate & Health Conference on October 23 in Toronto, Ontario, the conference sold out, bringing together over 370 researchers, practitioners, clinicians, students, and community members from across the city, province, and country.

The full-day conference featured engaging talks and discussions exploring the health impacts of climate and ecological risks, implications for health care and health systems, and ways to engage the communities and peoples most affected. Sessions also highlighted the importance of advancing health equity and justice in clinical practice and climate and health research.

The conference also celebrated outstanding and innovative work with the presentation of eight Climate & Health Awards. Student achievements were recognized through awards for outstanding student poster and oral presentations, as determined by our judges. This year, attendees also had the opportunity to vote for their favourite poster through a new People’s Choice Award.

A huge thank you to our 2 keynote speakers, 53 panelists, 11 workshop facilitators, 15 moderators, and 66 poster presenters for sharing their knowledge and expertise. We are also grateful to everyone who joined us and contributed to a successful day of engaging conversations and knowledge sharing.
