This webinar, the last of a three-part series, will show how heat-health early warning systems provide the essential infrastructure that allows protective measures – from targeted messaging to clinical preparedness – to be deployed proactively when extreme heat threatens children’s health and wellbeing.
During this webinar, presenters will define what a heat-health warning system is and disseminate a new global review on heat-health warning systems. The event will also feature a presentation from the Government of Senegal, which has established a robust system for issuing heat warnings and triggering timely action in communities.
