To mark the publication of the 10th Lancet Countdown report, and as part of UCL's bicentenary year, the Lancet Countdown and UCL Grand Challenges (Climate Crisis) are convening a half-day conference bringing together researchers, policymakers, healthcare professionals, civil society organisations and practitioners working at the intersection of climate change and health.
The conference will showcase the latest findings from the 2026 Report of the Lancet Countdown and convene a global conversation on the health impacts of climate change and the actions needed to protect health. Through keynote presentations, panel discussions and audience engagement, the event will explore how robust evidence can support effective climate and health action across sectors and regions.
The launch of the 10th Indicator Report of the Lancet Countdown will be livestreamed and live captioning and translation will be available. The remainder of the conference, including presentations from UCL academics, will not be live streamed but will be available as recordings after the event.
