Integrated surveillance: Early Warning and Response System (EWARS)

Publisher: World Health Organization

Early Warning and Response System (EWARS) is a predictive model with a web-based dashboard to predict outbreaks of dengue, chikungunya, zika, and in some cases, malaria, and cholera. The dashboard uses historic datasets to analyze and draw conclusions, identify appropriate alarm indicators, and build an early warning system to detect outbreaks in real-time and respond accordingly.

This resource comes with a series of videos and a user manual which contain step-by-step instructions to implement EWARS, including organizing data, using the software, and analyzing and interpreting results.

Intended users
