The WHO Asia-Pacific Centre for Environment and Health in the Western Pacific Region is pleased to invite you to the second webinar of the 2026 regional series on Climate-Resilient and Sustainable Health System Acceleration in the Western Pacific Region.

The second webinar, “Energy solutions for health facilities in the Western Pacific Region”, will take place on 20 August 2026 at 10:30 AM (Manila time).

The webinar series has been developed in line with the objectives of the Alliance for Transformative Action on Climate and Health (ATACH), which supports countries in translating climate and health commitments into practical action. ATACH promotes collaboration, technical assistance, knowledge-sharing, monitoring and access to financing to strengthen climate-resilient and sustainable low-carbon health systems.

This session will focus on the use of renewable energy to strengthen climate resilience, help facilities reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The session will also support regional peer learning and help identify areas where further technical support, capacity building and collaboration may be needed to accelerate implementation in diverse countries and facility contexts.
