The Technical Meeting, co-organized by Health Care Without Harm and WHO, will provide a practical introduction to action planning for low carbon sustainability in health systems and facilities. It will feature:
- An introduction to useful tools and practical resources, including step-by-step approaches, to develop action plans for low carbon sustainable health systems and facilities.
- Experiences and insights from various ATACH Members that have developed policies and actions using national level data (top down) and/or facilities level data (bottom up).
- A new diagnostic tool that can help countries identify their capacity, needs, and priorities for action planning.
This meeting will be the first in a series of Clinics that will provide practical action planning support for health systems striving towards low carbon sustainability. Subsequent clinics will be held in August/September and December 2025 (dates to be confirmed) and will provide additional opportunities for countries/areas to receive personalized expert support and to learn from their peers.
This meeting will be held in 2 sessions featuring the same contents, to accomodate multiple time-zones.
