The WHO Asia-Pacific Centre for Environment and Health invites you to the first webinar in the 2026 regional series on Climate Resilient and Sustainable Health System Acceleration in the Western Pacific Region.
This webinar, "Health Care Waste Management in the Western Pacific Region", will explore regional priorities, country experiences and practical approaches for strengthening health care waste management systems. Discussions will focus on protecting patients, health workers and communities while reducing environmental impacts, improving resource efficiency and supporting climate resilient, low-carbon health systems.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn from country experiences, exchange knowledge with peers and identify opportunities for technical collaboration and capacity building across the Region. The webinar aligns with the objectives of the Alliance for Transformative Action on Climate and Health (ATACH), which supports countries in translating climate and health commitments into practical action.
